What causes leg cramps?!

Question:

What causes leg cramps?

And why do we get them sometimes at night when we are asleep?

Answers:

Typically, cramps are caused by a lack of potassium. We cramp at night, because this is when we are the least active, and our muscles relax and become lax - leaving room for a curling muscle.

If you're having problems with cramping, you may try adding a banana a day to your diet. Or increase foods that have higer potassium content like chicken.
