Concussions? I was hit in the head by a 10 foot steel pole while in Home Depot?!

Question:

Concussions? I was hit in the head by a 10 foot steel pole while in Home Depot?

I was shopping in Home Depot.....A customer put a 10 foot steel pole in one of the orange carts (basically a grocery cart) at home depot. He was passing me and when he let go of the cart (or so I am told) it tipped over and somehow hit me in the forehead and I was knocked to the ground and lost about 15 seconds. Went to ER and had CT Scan and was told everything looked ok that I had a concussion but should heal fine over next weeks.

It's almost 3 weeks and I am still getting massive headaches. The pain is awful and now I have to take pain killers which scares the hell out of me. Doc says could be up to 3 months!!! Plus it feels like the bone is permanetly raised (rock hard and won't go down).

Please tell me your experience(s). I am trying to be positive but it is getting harder and harder. I can't sleep right now b/c the pills don't work and the pain keeps me up.

I have to say I agree with the above, you should be seen again, or see another doctor. Doctors do make mistakes, and maybe you should be scanned again. As for your bills, I do think someone should help. I honestly think people sue for the heck of it now a days. Home Depot had nothing to do with some person hitting you in the head, by accident in there store! Geez people, someone always wanting an easy way on life at the expense of others! Good luck with your head hon, hope it gets better.
