Does the amount of sleeping time in kid and teenager time affect a person's heig!
Question:
Does the amount of sleeping time in kid and teenager time affect a person's height?
I feel comfortable with my height but I always wonder would I be taller if I sleep more while I was kid and teen. I had too much study pressure in teen time and just didn't want to sleep sometimes, which end up sleeping 5 to 6 hours on average. Does sleeping time affect the height growth? I wonder. Does anyone have scientific information about this?

Answers:
I used to sleep all the time when I was a kid and a teenager. I would sleep 10-12 hours on average a night, and I'm the shortest person in my family. Your height has a lot to do with genetics, and the height of other members of your family. While eye color is a single gene that can be determined by methods such as using a Punnett square, height is more complex. Height is determined by many genes (AaBbCcDd for example), and that is why some children are taller than their parents, and different variations.
