Ive been mastubating sense i was 12...im 16 now and i still do it...when i was 12 my family life sucked and i mastubated almost every night...now i rarely do it....but i still do it...its like all dull...me and my girlfriend talk about sex a lot...like A LOT..we've been going out sense we were 13 so like 3 or 4 years...i told her that i masturbated and she said that she did too...me both really want to have sex...and we love we each other a lot...we both wanted to know if mastubation can damaged our parts or like stunt our growth...
and is 16 and shes 17...to young or no??

Masturbation, contrary to some religious beliefs is normal and healthy, although you have already spotted it can become an escapism valve. However, you now sound sorted on that one.
It will not harm you, so relax.

As for sex with your girlfriend...

You are both over the age of 16 so you are legally able to do so. However, you also need to learn about safe sex now. ALWAYS use a condom. Unplanned, and unwanted pregnancy destroys lives so does sexually transmitted diseases....so wise up on these issues, find out more about safe sex.

If the two of you go to a young persons sex clinic. (Usually one in most towns in UK) They will supply you with advice and condoms for free and it shows a responsible attitude to your sexual health. The service is confidential and your parents need never know.

As you are both so ready for sex, I strongly urge you to purchase protection if you don't wish to attend a clinic and be prepared. I say this because, one day, you will stop talking and sex will happen naturally. You must be prepared for that day. However, don't force it, it will happen naturally when you are both ready.
