Why are my fresh bruises brown?!
Question:
Why are my fresh bruises brown?
I tend to get random bruises (actually, they probably aren't that random, I'm just a klutz and hardly notice when I run into something). Most of the time, they go straight to brown. I looked it up and it said that brown is the color of bruises that are about 10 days old, but I'm looking at my arm right now and there are 2 brown bruises that were definitely not there this morning.
Any explaination as to why?

It's only when your skin is fairly pail that a bruise is well pronounced.
