Lump on forehead after minor surgery...?!

Question:

Lump on forehead after minor surgery...?

I recently had a small number of cysts removed from my scalp and I've noticed a rather large but flat lump at the top of my forehead that I didn't notice before. It's in the vicinity of where I had one of my cysts removed but I've never notice a lump develop after my other previous operations. It doesn't hurt when it's touched or when pressure is put upon it, and while it's not really soft you can definitely tell that it's not bone. Is this just swelling after the operation or should I be a little more concerned?

Answers:

Hematoma (blood collection). It would generally resolve without any intervention over a few weeks.
