can i sew a doctor for pain and suffering?!

Question: Can i sew a doctor for pain and suffering?
I went to a clinic and the experiance was horrible but I didn't feel as they did everything correct and so I went to another doctor and she told me to get my paperwork so I did well attempted too and it took them three months to get it to me after arguing and threatening to hire a lawyer they finally sent them and when I actually got my file it was three sheets of papers which i had never seen and a cover sheet but I clearly do not remember signing a liability form and for some reason it is one of he papers, can I sew tumor for tampering with my file and pain and suffering?

Answers:

If you're talking about getting your medical records from the first doctor, I'm quite surprised it took three months. I got mine from 4 different doctors in the space of about two weeks. I'm not sure what you mean by liability form. The only thing I've ever had to sign was a consent for treatment. I doubt if you can sue the first clinic unless the care they gave you actually made your condition worse. You have to have suffered pain and suffering before you can sue for it. You should talk to a lawyer and see if he thinks you have a case.

well, you would have to have actually physically suffered because of what the doctor did or what the doctor instructed or because of the filing mishap, had to pay fines or whatever resulting in monetary loss. I'd just bring it up with your insurance company if you have problems.

Can you sew tumor? What? You can't seem to write correctly, so what makes you think you know better than the doctors who treated you? Can you prove that you didn't sign the paper that somehow has your signature on it?

Yes you could sue for tampering with your medical chart, so take everything to a lawyer to se if he/she wants your case.

Sorry sweetie, first of all it is "sue" not "sew" as in needle and thread. Second of all, I work in the medical field and happen to know that the patient does not usually get to see their chart, so how would you recognize the papers? Also, you should always read what you are signing before you sign it. Legally, the chart is the property of the physician. No one tampered with your file. Honestly it seems to me that you are looking to file a frivolous lawsuit to try to get money for nothing. Do you wonder why medical insurance costs so much? It is because of things like this. Sorry you had a bad experience at this clinic, I hope the second one you went to was better. A lawsuit is not the answer on this one.
