This isn't going to cause death, so no need to panic. However, before you take twice the recomended "OTC" dose at your weight, you may want to try 2 first. If you did this, then good for you.

Always with higher levels of ibuprofen you should take it with a meal to minimize GI upset.

800mg of ibuprofen is the "prescription" dose, and generally helps more so than half of that. However it may or may not have effect on your headache as headaches can have several mechanisms of action and the anti inflammatory effects + prostaglandin effects of ibuprofen may not serve your purpose. A vasoconstrictor like caffeine, or other medications may work better. Even acetaminophen, or aspirin could have a better effect.

In the long run you know what generally works best for your own body -- something doctors don't take into account enough. Patients have lived with their body their whole lives and is the only one they know, and they know intimately... therefore they, not the doctor, should know what works best for them. But I digress..

You'll be fine. If you didn't eat, go ahead and have a decent snack, or meal if it is time.

dude you only need one or two advils. it can really harm you at 12 with FOUR advils. just take 1 or 2. also if you feel weird later take a rest or tell your parents.

also it depends on how big is the pill 100 or 200mg.

12 year old's at your weight should be able to take an adult dosage, look on the back of the bottle and check to see for the adult dosage.

Did you read the labor on the bottle? Read it and make sure your fine. I'm 12 and I weigh about 115 and I only take 2 Advils

well that's a bit too many :s next time only take 1 or 2 :D :D :D you might get a stomach ache, or feel weird but i dont think you'll die or anything xD feel better soon ;p
