Pain when i swallow? ?!

Question: Pain when i swallow? ?

When im eating. Drinking. Or swallowing something i get this pain like a sore throat. But it isnt my throat that gets the pain. It feels like the back,bottom of my jaw. Can anyone please help? Its really annoying.

Hey Diego,

It sounds like you may have swollen lymph-nodes. These are located under your ears and slightly forward under the back of your jaw in your neck. This pain and or swelling, is usually the cause of an infection/sickness. You either have been ill, or are/will be getting ill. If you do not/can not get well at home on your own, an antibiotic is usually needed to help with this type of infection.

I understand when you say it is not actually your throat. Sometimes, your ears will also hurt when you swallow as well.

So, keep an eye on yourself, take care of yourself, and if needed, see your doctor for a proper diagnosis and possible antibiotics if needed.
