Enema with xrays?!

Enema with xrays?

I had a enema done with xrays days ago and have had problems with bm's cause the stuff they used left eveything too hard to come out.Should i go to the er to check out everything since i wont see my dr until the middle of July?

no need to rush to the er.. its barium.. (baruim enema or lower gi series) needed the bowel to be clear to have a good visualization.. barium causes constipation & if you passed your stool its clay colored.. you just need to increase fluid & fiber intake, & engage in activity thus promoting peristalsis.. or buy laxatives (castor oil etc) w/c aids in bowel movt
