Recovering from severe arm injury. Can I still fight?!

Question: Recovering from severe arm injury. Can I still fight?
I've recovered from a severely torn bicep about a couple of weeks ago. It needed surgery, but I'm back now. Unfortunately, from lack of working out, I've lost almost all upper body strength. My doctor has cleared me for sports again. My only question is if I still can. I want to enter a kickboxing tournament, but I'm not sure if I have enough strength to pack a punch. Please don't tell me not to risk re-injury. I know the risks, but I've been cleared, and am willing to risk it. Can I still do damage with my punches? Am I over-worried? Should I fight?

Answers:

depends. did you punch like a girl before you tore muscle? if so, you probably still punch like a girl. did you have a hard fast punch before? well im sure you wont now since you yourself stated youve lost all upper body strength. why dont you work out and get fight ready before you take on a fight.

What is your age?
While I really want to recommend you not to do strenuous sports like kickboxing. It is dangerous to keep on this with your recovered arm. Hope you consider it seriously.
