I have shooting pains in my back. anyone know what it might be?

For the last year and a half, I have had shooting pains in my back on a quite consistant basis. I've gotten used to them and can usually ignore them but in the last 3 weeks they have been getting worse and worse. Longer shooting, more painful.

I've had back pains like that too. I went to visit my doctor and he made clinical studies on me to figure it out. I had XRAYS and MRI like crazy. He couldn't really figure out why. But suggested Physical therapy for me did some exercises but they didn't really help in any way. I was also prescribed a stronger medicine compared to tylenol. After moving from a Dad that was verbally abusive my back pains started to go away. Really, I went to another doctor and he found out I had depression and that's where I was getting the pains from.
