As a healthcare provider I can tell you that we see this often in the ER or urgent care. Don't try to get this out yourself. It's too easy for you to push it in further..and little ear canals and ear drums rupture easily. Don't leave it there too long because it will cause an ear infection. I have seen parents bring children in because they had an odd odor to the child.....come to find out it was an ear infection from a foreign object in the ear canal.....or up the nose.
