High School football?!

Question:

High School football?

I gota problem and just want some advice. Iv been playing football since 7th grade and im now going to be a junior in high school. I hurt my shoulder my freshmen year and had to have surgery and sit out all this year (sophomore year) during football. After i got recovered from surgery and started basketball, I re-injured my shoulder but the doctor said i could still play football but i would have a higher risk of injuring it more and having to have another surgery, which would be another 15 thousand bucks. Football is fun and a huge deal in my town, but I have future plans of being an auto technician or engineer and further injuries could limit what I do to an extent. There is a lot of pressure for me to go out, but I dont know what to do. Anyone have a little advice?

Answers:

here are a couple of questions that you probably need to answer to get a better answer:
do you start or are you guarented play time if you go out?
what position do you play? If you play reciver you have less of a chance of getting hurt if running back or something like that maybe a greater chance.
as for the pressure for you to play dont worry about them do what you want to do if you wanna play, play if not then dont. but i dont think you'll injury yourself bad enough that you cant still become an auto technician
