How to loosen up a stiff jaw?!

Question:

How to loosen up a stiff jaw?

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled on June the 8th, 2007. I'm doing fine, except for my jaw. It seems to still be pretty stiff. Is there anything you can do to loosen it up so it will be back to normal?
Also, if I have to go to the dentist to get it loosened, what do they do?

Also, the one side that is stiff, it was the side where my bottom right tooth was impacted. I think the other side is starting to get a little stiff too.

Answers:

First go back to the dentist to insure that nothing is infected. If you apply heat to the area that is infecting you will excel the infection. Once you determine that there is no infection use heat theapy (hot washcloth 10 minutes on 10 minutes off 3 times). Next stand straight, place your tongue on the roof of your mouth and breath deep and slow through your nose 10 times. Next in same position take your hands and grab hold of your chin, using your hands (not your jaw muscles) open and close your mouth 10 times. This should provide some relief.
