How much sleep should i be getting?!


Question: How much sleep should i be getting?
13yr and i have to wake up at 6am every morning...even on late start days because i share a bathroom..which sucks. I pick out my clothes the night before but i just still feel like i dont get enough sleep! in class im always yawning or putting my head down and it frustrates my teachers..lol

what time should i be going to bed? i have free time after 7:30 when im done with school activities and homework.

Teenagers are supposed to require from 8-10 hours of sleep per night so you should retire at 10 pm at the latest if you get up at 6 am.



experts say you should get 8 hrs of sleep so 7 should be ok. i think the avg joe gets 4-6 hrs of sleep. try taking irons pills and vitamins as well. if your iron is low you will become sleepy or sleepier. also, vitamins will give you some energy. try being in the bed 11-12. you might actually wake up early the first few times b/c the body isn't use to the sleep time.



Go to bed at 9:30, unless you are able to fall asleep quickly, then go to bed at 10.
