Question:
How can I relieve my work-related stress?
I work at a high school and this school year was particularly hard on me and everyone in my department. Since I'll be off soon for the summer, I'd thought I'd ask how to de-stress from the 2006-2007 school year. I can't travel too far because I don't have a lot of $$. Could you help me out? PLEASE?!?!?

I do like the idea of getting rid of September but I get off of work next week and I actually have to go back to work in July long before the kids come back. :( We do get 3 weeks for the winter though...

I feel your pain I use to work as a guidance counseler at a school. This is what I use to do to relax/de-stress =
1. Say a prayer to allow your spirit to be still & quiet
2. Take a long hot (scented)candle lit bath w/ bath crystals
bubbles, play relaxing music
3. Get out your favorite 2 comedy movies, favorite ice cream
& enjoy!! (Laughter soothes the soul & de-stresses)
4. Get a good workout, this releases endrophins & makes
you feel better/refreshed
5. Go outside & enjoy the weather, go to local park &
bird/ people watch. (It's amusing to observe people it
also clears your mind from all the stress)
