What does Small radio opaque shadow in right side of pelvis-? Calculus phlebolith mean?
ive been having pain on the left hand side of my stomache for the past week now so i went for an x-ray of KUB
tht is the report that came out of it.. wanted to know what does it suggest?? the suggestion by the report radiologists was IVU SUGGESTED?? what is this.. is this something i should worry about.. please someone let me knw.

It means that they saw a small, white area and they think it could be a kidney stone which the IVP will put a dye in your arm that will show up the whole kidney system and will show if there is a stone. A phlebolith is a small, white area of calcium deposited in a vein...a nothing. It sounds like kidney stone is s good bet except its on the opposite side as the pain,
