How can I prevent myself from napping throughout the rest of the day?!

Question: How can I prevent myself from napping throughout the rest of the day?
I'm in HS. I'm basically on my feet all day. What gets me tired is the fact that I have gym 5th hour...so I play hard every day. When I get home, I'm awake for a bit then I suddenly fall asleep around 5:30pm or a little after and usually don't wake up until 1am which gives me a couple hours to stay up before I get ready for school at 6:15am.

Answers:

The reason why you're napping throughout the rest of the day is because you've got yourself on that pattern. The reason you're so tired after school and throughout school is because you're not getting enough sleep at the proper time at night.
You need to get your circadian rhythm back on track.
You need to start forcing yourself back into a proper sleep pattern. Whatever you do, stop napping after school. Stay awake, watch TV, help make supper, do homework, go play soccer or something, go hang out with a friend. Then after supper, have a hot shower and pass out by 9 or so. You'll have a wicked awesome sleep for the first week because you'll be so tired from your day.
After about a week of this things should start to get easier for you. Just make sure you're hitting the sheets before 11ish and you're bound to get enough sleep to last the whole next day.

that could just be your natural sleep cycle but i am a caffeine person. there are many ways to stay awake. I personaly like Monster energy drink because it tastes better than most energy drinks. or there is always coffee. also if you dont want to drink something to stay awake there is energy gum that works well. it is made by the makers of rockstar energy drink. you can find any of these options at many gas stations and most grocery stores. or if you are realy extreme with it, Meth will keep you going for days :) (please observe the smiley face, i was just kidding you should definitely not do meth but the other options are still good)

Eat a lot of carbs and stay busy. When you get home dont go sit on the couch, go ride your bike or play basketball or something.
