My dentist out to make money or is wisdom teeth extraction needed even though no!

Question:

My dentist out to make money or is wisdom teeth extraction needed even though no pain is present with mine?

Have all wisdom teeth in yet one is partially through and is on an angle with no pain present or problems, yet my dentist wants to take it out. Have you ever heard of removing wisdom teeth to prevent future problems? I figure if it aont broke dont fix it, and dont wan tto go through the pain with the removal process.......

Answers:

I have the same views "If it aint broke, don't fix it." My dentist has never mentioned taking out my wisdom teeth because I feel no discomfort or pain with them still in. I would say that he is just out to get money. If you really are concerned, I would suggest getting a 2nd opinion to see if it is really necessary. Maybe your dentist see's something that would require them being removed. At this point, there is no need to remove them, but also no need to have them. I would say save yourself the money and the time and get a 2nd opinion to make 100% sure you need this. If it aint broke, don't fix it.
