Blood draws - Make you dizzy?
Nothing gets to me accept blood draws, shots don't nor do pricks.
Oddly enough blood draws make me very dizzy. I am not afraid of needles or blood but when the draw blood I always end up light headed. Any strange reason for this?
Just curious since I had one today and felt weak afterwords. I hadn't eaten anything if that has something to do with it.

you have what's called vagovagal reflex and yours is probably more sensitive than other people - but you're entirely normal.
if getting a shot and getting pricks are okay for you, perhaps it's the fact they are drawing out blood which decreases the blood pressure temporarily causing less blood to go to your head for that short time - make you dizzy. if you were just getting one tube of blood, i'd find it interesting since that's not too much blood - but again you may have heightened sensitivity to it. you may also have an emotional reaction which can make you more sensitive to it as well.
