Tendinitis in wrist, can I still do yoga?
I was just diagnosised with tendinitis in my left wrist. Can I still do yoga? How about water aerobics? I was told I can't knit for awhile. I was giving excercises to do. I have a brace to wear while at work. I got it from work, too much typing.
Answers:
A good rule with any tendinitis is if it hurts while you are doing it then stop. If in doing Yoga or water aerobics your wrist hurts then stop. The things you really need to avoid right now are repetitive activities such as typing and knitting. Make sure you put an ice bag on the inflamed area after any of these activities....hurting or not.
