Im soooo tired, whats wrong?!

Question:

Im soooo tired, whats wrong?

i have a swollen lymph node on my thyroid and had gotten a ultra sound done on it id say a month and a half ago the doctor said it looks good and not cancerous but she was going to send me to a ear nose and throat specialist just to be sure. well they soonest they could get me in is the end of july so i said ok thinking she say the ultra sound pics if it looked bad i would get in sooner, latly i have been feeling so tired almost unbearable its hard to get out of bed and all day long i'm pooped. i was wondering if it could be because of my thyroid and if i should try to get in sooner, or maybe its just the heat....what do you think

Answers:

See, if ur appetite isn't drastically off the mark (increased or decreased), and if ur weight hasn't changed a lot, u r not suffering from any thyroid ailment.

Symptoms of hyperthyroidism (excessive thyroid hormone levels) are:
1. increased hunger
2. loss of weight
3. anxiety
4. tremors (involuntary shaking of the fingers)
5. tiredness
6. raised body temperature/feeling hot and sweaty
7. palpitations (awareness of ur own heart beats)
8. menstrual irregularities

The symptoms of hypothyroidism r opposite (including lethargy/tiredness).
Do u suffer from the above (or the opposite) things? If not, then ur tiredness is unrelated to ur neck swelling.

Did u get a chest X-ray done?
Likewise get an abdominal and pelvic sonography done.

Tiredness can be very commonly due because of anemia, or mental depression, too.

Don't skip ur breakfast (don't eat too sweet things in the morning; they can make u feel tired/drowsy later), and sleep well.

Bye. TC.
