The other day i stepped on a piece of rusted wire.....?
about the thickness of a coat hanger and it went into my foot i had some one pull it out but now 3 days later my foot is still swelled up and its hard to walk. i had a tetnus shot last january. should i just wait or go to the hospital or....... i dont know.......i dont have health insurance..... maybe some home remedy or something......???????

it isn't tetanus if you have had a shot within the last five years.
however, you have undoubtedly developed a healthy infection, I doubt that a home remedy is going to do any good at this late stage, but, you can try soaking your foot in very warm water and epson salts at least three times a day to see if you can draw the infection out. If it isn't improved after 24 hours of this treatment, it isn't going to get better and you had better seek medical attention for antibiotics, the infection like that can cause gangrene and loss of your foot.
