it was like the pinky fingure is up ring and middle fingure are down by your palm, your pointer fingure is up and ur thumb is on the fingernail of your middle and ring fingure...[it might help if u do the sign to see it visually] but can u tell me what it means?

Rock on is a pretty good answer. I don't know if it has an exact meaning that can be put into words, it's just something people who listen to heavy metal do. Sort of like a fraternal handshake for metal heads. You have to be a part of that culture to fully understand I think. It probably originated somewhere else and I think it may be related to the devil somehow but that's why people use it now.
