Question: Can you get a permanent bruise?
Well about two years ago my horse stepped on my foot and it was purple and swollen for a few weeks and now two years later there are purple lines throughout where my foot was stepped on and her hoof did not break the skin....is that some kind of purple scar?

Funny i have the EXACT same thing (for the same reason) on the top of my foot. The only difference is since my daughters horse stepped on the same spot (and it was a light step) it has been swollen and huts again.
