I have a lump on my wrist at the back of my hand?!


Question:

I have a lump on my wrist at the back of my hand?

its quite hard and painful to touch. the last few months it comes and goes so i have paid no heed to it, the last few days its been very painful and i cant bend my wrist. anyone out there know what it is and pos remeadys ?


Answers:

Could be a calcium deposit. Many people get them in the wrist area. They can be irritated if you mess with them too much. If you drink alot of milk or take in more calcium than your body can absorb, they will for in joins. They typically go away if you decrease your calcium intake.
