What do you do to get rid of canker sores?
Help it hurts like hell.

I get canker sores, and after trying EVERYTHING out there that is made for cold sores & canker sores, I have found that the only sure thing is LISTERINE.
I have tried Zylactin, Orabase B, Orajel, Peroxide, L-Lysine, Abreva and other products, but they burn too much when I put it on the canker sore... and products like Zylactin that form a protective coating on the canker sore, gets on my nerves as it starts to come off.. then I end up pulling it off, and hurting the ulcer even more.
Go get some Listerine, any flavor you can stand. Get a mouthful, and swish it around... then hold it in your mouth for as long as you can possibly stand it.
If you do that 2 or 3 times a day, the cold sores will be gone in a couple of days.
Plus, it helps dull the pain.
