Question: Ok so about 3 weeks ago i had a bad cold, and sinus infection, i got antibiotics but i never finished them.?
Now yesterday the second last tooth in my mouth on top, started hurting A LOT, then today i realized the hard palate by the tooth is swollen. now the tooth is no longer hurting but the hard palate hurts really really bad ! Its really bothering me, i was wondering if anyone knew what it was and if there's anyway to ease the pain.

Answers:

Well first off the antibiotics won't affect that but to let you know that If you dont finish any antibiotics a doctor prescribes you will give any bacteria/germs in your body a chance of becoming immune to that antibiotic which is very dangerous. With that said there is a thing called a "cocktail" my Dr. Told me about and It is 4 250 mg tylonel and 4 200 mg ibeuprofin taken together. It is the max amount of both you can take in a 12 hr period but shy of narcotics is the best thing you can take for pain. I hope this helps.

My life

Sometimes your teeth hurt after a sickness; I heard this from my dad.
If you have the means, you could go to your average grocery store and procure topical anesthetic cream. It doesn't require a prescription and is relatively cheap. This is of course, a temporary fix.

You definitely should go to the dentist. Only he can truly tell what's going on, and (I hate to say it), but there's a good chance you'll need drilling or a root canal. Especially if your gum or tooth is showing a change of color.

Once I got really strong pain in one of my teeth, and my gum around it turned black.

Very painful. I had to get a crown.

Try a heating pad instead.
