How do you make massive face swelling go down quickly?
I had teeth surgery yesterday, and my left cheek is swollen about an inch- I look like a chipmunk practically. I am asking this on Thursday and I am going out all day with a bunch of friends on Saturday, and I want to look as normal as possible by saturday morning. I have been putting ice on it occasionally, but what else can I do?
it doesn't hurt, it's just very cumbersome. I can't laugh or smile, which I do often.

Frozen Peas. Two bags.
Wrap the bag in two paper towels, and apply that to your face. Hold it there until they're not cold anymore. Put it back in the freezer and grab the other bag. Wrap it in two paper towels, apply to face. Keep rotating.
The peas are great because they conform and curve around your face instead of big blocks of ice.
You'll probably want to throw them away when you're done. They didn't get dirty or anything, but all the thawing and re-freezing can't be good for them.
And make sure you don't apply them directly to your face, same goes with ice. You'll want to wrap it in paper towels or a towel.
