Ankle Sprain/brace?

I sprained my ankle 3 days ago jumping rope at a camp for increasin your speed.. long story. and i play basketball. I am 15 and i had the trainer look at my ankle. He said it was a minor sprain and to ice it and that i could try playin in my game the next night... i hav been icin it but ive also been usin it ... it is still swollen but it isnt a diff color thankfully.. but i really dont no wat to do now.... ??

i hav the mcdavid ankle brace it cost 50 dollars but is ther a better one ?? if u no??

if it continues to bother you you should really go to an orthopedic doctor to have him check it out.. you could have done more damage than you think, for now try to stay off of it as much as you can. if you need to play Bball wear a brace for support.

Note: some sprains can take a while to heal. so take it easy :o)
