My Throat?!
Question:
My Throat?
The back of my throat looks weird, it looks like the left tonsil is covering half of the opening to the throat/pipe area i dunno the name.
and when i open my mouth wide enough to bite into a sandwich it feels like its ripping, and when i swallow my throat hurts and my left ear hurt.
But the right side is fine.
WHat could this be? How can i reduce pain?
Answers:
I get strep throat quite often, and this sounds similar to what I feel when I get it. Sore throat when swallowing, feels like you have a swollen neck, and an enlarged tonsil area or bumps on the tonsil. It could also be tonsilitis or sinus issues (draining can cause that irritation).
Your best bet is to go to the doctor, but for the meantime warm drinks such as tea or cocoa can help, as well as pouring honey into a spoon and swallowing it.
