Is it possible to fix a bone that was broken over 7 years ago?!

Question: Is it possible to fix a bone that was broken over 7 years ago?
I'm not sure of the details, I never went to the doctors for it, but I broke/crushed or displaced the ball bone (Lateral malleolus?) on my left ankle quite a few years ago. I've looked almost everywhere on the internet for information out of curiosity of getting it fixed, but I've yet to find anything. I suppose it'd also help to know more about the injury but I don't. xD

Answers:

Yes if it was in fact broken before and needed to be set into place or needed surgery to heal correctly and you never went to the doctor. You can now see a orthopedic and explain the issue and they can surgically re-break the bone if it grew back wrong and then they will set it and do whatever is needed for it to heal correctly like they would have done when it broke the first time. I would not do this unless it gives you problems, I have had bones grow back wrong that the doctor has sai they can do this to but it is unnecessary if it does not give you any problems.
