Helping back pain from sitting up straight?!

Question:

Helping back pain from sitting up straight?

I seem to only be comfortable when slouching. I don't always have back pain when I sit up straight, only sometimes. It seems to happen more often the past couple of years though. I know a lot of people have back problems when their breasts are too big, and that a reduction helps that. Well my size is 32 band size and upwards of DDD, I actually don't know my true cup size anymore. This wasn't near as much of a problem for me in high school as it is now, so I didn't consider my breast size a factor back then, but I also gained more weight since then. So I guess my question is, would weight loss and getting in shape in and of itself help this problem, or would it only help if I went down in cup sizes? Because I have a feeling that even though my breasts got a lot bigger as I gained weight, if I lost weight my breasts wouldn't get as small as they used to be at the lower poundages, and I'd still have this problem. And I'm not sure I would ever want a reduction.

Answers:

If you have lower back or pelvic joint problems, then sitting up straight can cause aggravations. Not always but at times when the joints are less stable.

Losing weight is not an issue (although being overweight may exacerbate the problem, it doesn't cause it) - otherwise all over weight people would have back pain, which they don't.

What you need to do is relax the muscles and joints in the area. This can be done by yourself without the need for therapy. Although if any back pain doesn't settle quickly then professional treatment is advisable.

If you do have a large bust, this will create postural stresses, but you have grown with your breasts, so your body should have adapted also. Once a problem exists though, then the large breasts may also aggravate the condition. Large breasts will usually cause upper back pain due to muscles being constantly under presure. My wife had a breast reduction almost 20 years ago because of this (never regretted it).

But you need to sort out your lower back and then the pain shoud disappear without or without weight loss.
