I cant sleep!?!

I cant sleep!?

its 4:23 right now and i still havent slept all night, i am crazy tired. any suggestions?

P.S, i cant sleep without the t.v on cause i will be in complete darkness & scared. lol so, i have to keep the t.v on.
plus, sometimes it helps. cause my eyes get tired from staring at it and they just kinda start to shut and i eventually fall asleep.

Try these things to help you get a better sleep(Any change in environment will upset your sleep patterns for a while):

- Fresh air aids sleep, so leave the window open a little.
- Milk is a natural aid to sleep. Calcium and amino acid tryptophan in milk help the body relax. Have a glass before bed.
- Caffeine can stay in your body for 6-12 hrs. Lay off the coffee after lunchtime.
- Have a warm bath before bedtime.
- Try reading for an hour before bed.
- Lavender has natural relaxing properties. Sprinkle some lavender drops into your bath and on your pillow.
- Have your feet massaged. You can do this yourself by rolling a tennis ball around with your foot.
- Try a relaxation tape or soft, gentle music.

What often looks like a mere physical problem turns out to be a mental issue. If something has happened recently to disturb your mind, you must address that seriously on priority rather than blame it all on change of bed, mattress, etc. Curiously, even complex mental problems get sorted out by silly physical changes .... so try change your mattress as well.
