What is the most addicting and toxic; Fentynal Pain Patches or methadone?
Trying to get clean off pain meds but do it slowly! Just wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with the drug Fentynal (Duragesic Pain Patches @ 125 mg every 2 days) or methadone pills. Question is: "Will the methadone help me get off these oh so addicting patches THAT I'VE BEEN ON FOR 2 YEARS NOW or am I only going to REPLACE AN EVIL WITH ANOTHER EVIL? Another words will the methadone be just as hard to kick? THANX VERY MUCH! JOHN

Yes, methadone is very addicting. I have heard it said that methadone is more addicting than heroin. However, if you're trying to get off the patches, the methadone may be the drug for you, due to it's long duration. It is usually taken only once or twice daily, depending on the patient. Sorry it's not the answer you wanted to hear, but yes, methadone is a Monster to kick.
