Back pain in pregnancy?
I have a lot of pain in my lower back. I am only 20 weeks pregnant and wondering how the hell i'm going to manage when I get bigger.
I have a bad back as it is, and have invested in a pregnancy back support, but I was wondering if there is anything else I can do to help it. Not sure how long the support will help and I don't want to have to go off work earlier than I have to.

I have degenerative disc disease and like you i had terrible back pain thru pregnancy. Buy yourself a TENS machine, they are safe to use during pregnancy (i checked with my doctor) as long as its not constant and it really helps. at the moment lloyds pharmacy has a special on them selling at £9.99 (mine cost me £80!) so get one if you can!
