Headache that doesn't go away?!

Question: Headache that doesn't go away?
For the past week I've had a weird headache that only starts up when I shake my head.. like when I flip my hair out of my eyes or shake my head no. It's on the left side, never anywhere else.
I think it could be allergies because I've had that all week, so that could be it. But I don't know why it'd only turn up when I shake my head...

I know most people will say to go to a doctor, but we can't afford to at the moment, so this is my only source.

Any help is MUCH appreciated! Thank you!

Answers:

Headaches are caused by tight neck muscles which you are tightening up when you shake your head to cause the pain. Your neck muscles go to the top of your head where they connect with muscles going around your head. When the neck muscles get tight they pull on the head muscles and put them into pain, your headache. To get rid of the headache you have to free up your neck muscles and here's how to do that:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about one minute, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds. If any pain remains repeat this.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

It could be tense muscle I have had a headache that wont go away for over 2 months....it could also be sinuses.

have as much rest as possiblee
