I have Carpal Tunnel again, and will have to have surgery again. What am I doing!

Question:

I have Carpal Tunnel again, and will have to have surgery again. What am I doing wrong?

Is it possible the first surgery was done wrong?

Answers:

It probably wasn't done wrong, it may have been the wrong treatment. The numbness and pain from carpal tunnel comes from the median nerve. The medial nerve originates from several nerve branches in the neck. When you pinch the nerve you seldom get the sypmtoms right at the point of compression, they usually happen distally or away from the sight. I recommend that you get a chiropractic evaluation. The doctor can pinpoint exactly where the problem really is and treat it conservatively and maybe avoid another surgery.
