Extremely TIRED!!?!

Question:

Extremely TIRED!!?

I get about 5-7 hours of sleep a night and every single day im so exhausted that as soon as my head hits the pillow, im out. During the day at work I can hardly keep my eyes open and it's very difficult. Its not just in the morning, it continues all day. Anyone have any suggestions for me to prevent myself from being so tired all the time? Or maybe what's causing it? Even when I sleep in (8-10 hours of sleep) I still feel this way.

My husband told me that exercising may help, or doing some form of physical activity. Anyone had experience doing this, and did it help?

Answers:

Trying taking a B-12 pill or supplement when you wake up in the morning! Its used for energy and to decrease fatigue! Also, try getting just one or two more hours of sleep at night.. that may help more then you think!

It could be that you are not getting the REM sleep. I had the same problem. I was "sleeping" for 7-8 hours but because I was such a light sleeper and every little thing would wake me up, my body was never getting into the REM patterns (which is when your body actually "refreshes" itself!) If you dont get that REM then you will ALWAYS be tired!!

The doctor put me on Rozerum to help me sleep more "deeply" and I really havent had much trouble since (except for the fact that my KIDS wake me up before I'm ready! LOL)

Good luck and Sweet Dreams!! :)

In regards to your last post... exercising WILL help chronic fatigue. It sounds a bit weird that the MORE you do, the LESS tired you will feel, but for some reason it is TRUE! Try starting out SLOW... perhaps walk 1/2 hour each day for about a week, then add 15 minutes each week until you start feeling better. What it does is give you better circulation in both blood and air flow.. and that in turn helps you not feel so fatigued!! Plus after a good walk, you will sleep more soundly! Good luck and I hope you start feeling more AWAKE soon!!
