What's the first thing you should do if you think a loved one is having a heart attack?
Do you ask them to chew aspirin or swollow some? Are there any other tricks. Should you keep them calm. Drive to a hospital or call an EMS?

no one is having a heart attack that i know of at this moment i was just thinking what if... i'd like to be there for that person who may need help

First things first, always call 911 and be sure to stay as calm as possible. After wards, offer them an aspirin possibly Bayer. Make sure to always stay in the room with the person to avoid them panicking from being alone. Here's some advice while waiting for an ambulance: Have your loved one cough as much as possible while taking deep breaths in between. Coughing stimulates the heart and may give your loved one a little extra time before the ambulance arrives. Hope this helps!
