Do I have a pulled muscle?!


Question:

Do I have a pulled muscle?

Last week in soccer I think I maybe pulled a muscle, but i don't know for sure because I've never pulled one before. It doesn't really hurt unless I'm squatting down to get to my locker, or even when I start to run or do any thing related to physical activity. It's not that painful, but I can feel it in my outer left thigh, all down the side. No matter how much I stretched, it doesn't feel any better. What should I do? I've played 2 soccer games with it like this already, and I have another tomorrow. (One of the last games of the season) Is there anything that can make it feel better and heal? Does an icepack on it work?

Ice for 20 min. on, and then let it return to room temp, then ice, and so on. Stretch, stretch, stretch. Do something called dynamic stretching, look it up on google, there will be pleanty of information on it. Dynamic stretch before you play. If it hurts alot, stop play.
