Knee Problems?!

Knee Problems?

When i run my knee will have some pain what is causing this and what can I do to prevent it.


Answers:

How long have you been running? How old are you? What surface are you running on? If you have been running for a while I can't emphasize enough how important stretching is before and more so after your run. Specially your hamstring and ITB. If you run on asphalt or concrete trying running on a softer surface like grass or track that are designed for running usually in schools. If you run everyday try resting it on every 3rd day. Take joint supplements like Glucosamine/Chondroitin with MSM and HA (hylaurnic Acid) These supplements help preserve the joint synovium and lubrication. Again stretch after your run very important to keep the muscles loose around the knee joint. Good idea to see a chiropractor every now and then to maintain alignment as well. Good Luck.
