How do i get tired quickly?
Tonight i felt tired so i went to sleep but then i woke up an hour later and now I'm not tired so can you please tell me something that will make me go back to sleep and stay asleep because i have to get up early in the morning. What makes you tired?
Answers:
Medidating usually makes me tired whether I want to be or not. Just sit on the floor comfortably with your eyes closed and breath deep breaths in and out as slowly as possible. You will feel very aware at first, but if you keep this up for five minutes and longer, your breathing will slow down considerably and you will be ready for bed.
It definitely helps to have a tape for a guided meditation, but just concentrate on nothing but the feeling of your body breathing. If you can forget your cares and just breath, it should work nicely.
