How bad is the injury, if you get poked in the eye slightly?
I am just curious, to hear the answer. I never experienced this injury before, but I've heard other people have.
Answers:
It depends what you get poked with, how hard, and where. I took a thumb-nail in the eye many years ago early one summer in a swimming pool in Toronto. It did not puncture the eyeball, but it peeled back part of the white area. I received a stitch in the eyeball, (that was an experience in itself) and had to wear a patch, and stay out of the water for the whole summer. Altogether, it was a painful, frightening, and uncomfortable experience.
