Can i get back to sports after having arthroscopic lateral release?
i had arthroscopic lateral release done to both my knees, i'm wondering if it's still possible to get back to playing soccer again? thanks.

Absolutely!...you will have to put a lot of effort into your rehab and at times in the first 2-4 wks it will seem like you wont even be able to walk normal ever again, but keep an up-beat attitude and it will all work out in the end. Every one of my patients that wanted to get back into sports did so. Make sure you listen to your surgeon and therapist to do what you are supposed to and just as important to not do what you are not supposed to during rehab. Best of luck.
