hi my daughter accidently got hit in the face with an oscillating fan which fell of a shelf while she was cleaning in it actually hit her forhead just above her browbone in which she ended up with two black eyes and a bump or swelling exactly where it hit her browbone however this was about 8 weeks aggo her black eyes cleared up in a couple of weeks but the bump on her forehead above the browbone is still there when you feel it you can notice it when you look closely although not really obvious but its definatly still there and you can feel it the forhead seems to be quite a hard bone so i am wondering could this be skin or tissue swelling or the bone itself and do you think it could be serious

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse, Bone does not swell, the lump is full of fluid. the body puts this round an injury to protect it but sometimes fluid can cause pressure on certain nerves. I would get checked, she may even have an hairline fracture. If she has headaches or fuzzy vision. you have problem, see the Dr just to make sure
