Does it hurt when needle of the drip is inserted in the hand?!
Question: Does it hurt when needle of the drip is inserted in the hand?
Answers:
When I have an I.V. I prefer the back of the hand.
It does a tad bit, but not any worse than a vaccination or any other kind of IV. You'll feel momentary pressure and a pinching sensation, but once it's in you won't even notice it.
It's about the same as when they stick a needle in your arm to give blood. It only hurts for a second.
just a "sharp scratch" and the nurses do say "you'll feel a sharp scratch"
A prick, but when they move it around trying to find a vein, it pains.
not really. It's just like a little pinch.
