Why can't Chronic pain individuals be understood?!
Question:
Why can't Chronic pain individuals be understood?
When you have a disease that fits all of the listed symptoms and are diagnosed with several diseases that cause chronic pain, why are we treated so cruel? Getting disability, lawyers, doctors, and even diagnoses took years. The hospital is attempting to get me a new wheelchair that fits my needs. However, there is a great chance that I will not get the chair needed because the guidlines do not fit one with chronic pain. That chair would allow me to sit up for most of the day. The other chair will only allow two hours at a time. Boo hoo. Does it not seem unfair that my needs cannot be ment?
Answers:
Never go to a healthy young doctor. They know nothing about pain. Find an old doctor that has to hobble to work and he may understand your pain better. It takes an average of 8 years for the average Lupus patient to get a diagnoses. In those 8 years, that person will be accused of being a hypochondriac several times and receive little or no pain medication. That is horrible unnecessary suffering.
