I recently broke my arm and got a pin inserted this ahppen to anyone else? What does it do?


Answers:

Besides that I have had similar surgery, I also help preform it.

The pins (K-wires is the technical term) hold the bone fragments in place (reduction) until healing can happen. They will be taken out in 6-8wks
